On Friday, May 15, wordsinhere invites Amsterdam and the world to celebrate the launch of Versal 7 , the Netherlands’ only international literary journal.
The night's lineup combines literary & artistic mastery with the revelry that many of you may recognize from the old days of The Open Stanza. Versal 7 contributors Jennifer K. Dick and Rufo Quintavalle will be joining us from Paris to read selections of their work. There will also be live music from Amsterdam-based "global pop" band Zorita, the reinvented cabaret of Berlin's own Fergus Rougier, DJ Iron Melon and Emcee Prue Duggan herself.
It's only EUR 5 to get in, people! And all proceeds go directly to the literary organization that brings you Versal and so many great local events: wordsinhere . Way More Than wordsinhere! is co-sponsored by Nachttheater Sugar Factory and Time Out Amsterdam.
